What is cuppa club?

Like all good ideas the concept of a cuppa club is very simple. A few locals get together and provide a forum for discussion or other activities, usually in a community hall or other public building where any member of a community can drop in for a cup of tea and biscuit over a chat etc and socialise with other community members. The concept is designed to reduce rural isolation and act as stimulus for members to engage more in their community and its activities as well as being a spring board for the emergence of new community activities and involvement. Beurocracy is kept to a minimum and there are few if any formal rules and regulations.

Community transport will usually provide free transport to and from the session (there may be a small charge for those living more than 2 miles from the session.

Why not come along to one of our sessions and see for yourselves.
