Shoppa Bus: Suspended (for now)

We were hoping to keep our shoppa buses operational; however there are new government guidelines coming through regularly, and we don’t know how this will pan out. Currently, we cannot take people on our mini-bus for their groceries because of the impossibility of social distancing. There is an alternative:-

Community Car Service: Available

This scheme is available at 55p per mile for medical appointments etc. This service must be booked in advance. Call to book. We have drivers who have volunteered to shop or collect and deliver pre-ordered groceries and prescriptions for you. We can also take much loved pets to the vets for you. If you make contact with local shops and takeaways by telephone to place orders (they are willing for you to do so) - if they cannot deliver we will do our best to get the goods to you. Please give us a call on the number below for further details.

Heart of Wales Coffee Club: Suspended (for now)

Unfortunately we have had to close until further notice the Heart of Wales Coffee Club held at Llanwrtyd Community Centre on Station Road due to guidelines from the government.

We can be contacted about any of the above on 01982 552727 (if there is no answer, the message will give you a mobile number to ring).

By email: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or through Facebook

Or you can call one of our Shoppa coordinators: John McMahon: 07956 091242 or Rosemary Squires: 01591 610336

If you have any problems or queries at all please call us, and we will try our best to accommodate you.

  • Dragon Mosaic Wall

We have built a mosaic in the yard, it is of a Welsh Dragon. The dragon is made out of 2 inch (ca. 5 cm) square tiles cut to shape using a diamond blade glass saw. All the tiles were made by hand here at Llanwrtyd Community Transport Event Recycling.
  • Introducing Shiva, the Indian Goddess

Shiva is made entirely from recycled scrap of various kinds. Being the lady she is, she helps to raise much-needed income to subsidise Llanwrtyd Wells Community Transport services to the local community.
